Collection: John Heijink
John Heijink was born in Eindhoven, where he graduated from the Art Academy. He worked for the Dutch comic magazine Striptuur and made a lot of lithographs, drawings and illustrations. In 1987 he received the first price of animation films for his production 'Het groene gras effekt', a film that was later shown on Dutch national television.
In 1990 he went to Spain and he produced his first collection. In the following years, he exhibited his work on several occasions in both Spain and The Netherlands. , which was exhibited in Sala Generosa- San Pol, Sagaro. By 1995 he became the graphic designer of Liberto Jeans. He returned to comics in 2012 when he created the sci-fi comic 'Kapitein Kreiss' for Arboris publishers.
